Spearheaded by Sacha Thomasz, Director and Designer at Thomasz Design and Construction, the renovation of Casa Curvas began with a sharp vision: to honour its historical architecture while embracing minimalist principles. The result is a breathtaking four bedroom, two bathroom home that feels as much a tribute to its past as it is a beacon of modern innovation.

The house’s exterior keeps its original Spanish Mission character with stucco walls, terracotta roof tiles, and arched windows and doorways. These timeless elements are enhanced by contemporary touches, including a steel front door, travertine flooring, and a thoughtfully landscaped garden. Inside, the transformation is nothing short of extraordinary.

The open-plan kitchen and living area serve as the heart of Casa Curvas. The kitchen, a culinary enthusiast’s dream, features the Nuage Pull Out Sink Mixer. This lead free, five star WELS rated sink mixer, has a pull out, dual function hose, offering supreme functionality with designer style. A spacious island invites gatherings of family and friends.  The space flows effortlessly to the outdoor alfresco area, which includes a stunning nine metre-high outdoor kitchen and lounge, complete with a wood-burning fireplace.

The upper storey houses the master suite. A true sanctuary within this already serene home and the perfect showcase for the Nuage collection. Here, luxury meets functionality, with a private ensuite that features a built-in sauna, micro cement walls, and a Roman bathtub. Dual vanities, a spacious double shower and underfloor heating complete this haven of modern indulgence.
