Lexi MKII – Reawakening the spirit of linear architecture

Proudly designed in Australia by Phoenix’s award-winning design team, Lexi MKll is known for its distinctive linear profile, coupled with a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic. The slender profiled outlet and pin handle is elongated and sits vertically, offering a streamlined and complex engineering element. This collection earned international recognition, winning the Good Design, iF, and Red Dot design awards in 2021.

“Lexi MKII is in keeping with the concept of linear minimalism. The collection’s lines are based on a composition of two simple geometric structures – the cylindrical bodies and rectangular forms of the pin handle and spout, creating a harmonious design that blends comfortably in any modern setting,” says Ban Lui, Design Lead at Phoenix.

“With a strong design language, Lexi MKII’s slender outlet is achieved through a unique rectangular aerator, for basin products, or flow straightener, for bath outlets. The pin lever handle features a delicately recessed button, creating a fine line detail around the body of the handle.”

A standout feature of the collection is the energy saving Cold Start cartridge technology as featured in the Lexi MKII Basin and Vessel Mixers, which have both achieved a WELS 6-star rating for water efficiency.

Cold Start technology allows only cold water to be delivered when the tap is operated from the traditional mid-lever position. This means hot water only flows if the handle is moved to the left hot position, saving energy by avoiding the unnecessary heating of water for tasks such as cleaning your teeth or washing your hands. The flow of water is ultra-responsive and precise, giving you total control over temperature and water flow.

The wall mixers in the Lexi MKII collection are SwitchMix® compatible, which offers you the flexibility to select a new design or finish in the future without having to remove or damage wall tiles or compromise your waterproofing.

The Lexi MKII Pull Out Sink Mixer offers an extended pull-out hose for greater reach and flexibility. Its two-function handpiece allows for easy switching between a steady stream for cleaning and a spray for washing vegetables, while the blue and red hot/cold indicators enhance usability for all ages.
