“From concept to final product, the video showcases each stage of development, right through to the outstanding outcomes we see in homes, restaurants and many other projects,” says Steve Jackson, managing director, Phoenix Tapware. “Each step is vital to Phoenix’s assurance of uncompromising quality and innovative design and we are excited to share this video with you.”
The Phoenix story
The company you see in the video today is the result of over three decades’ dedication and continual mission for innovation. But its beginnings were a little more humble.
Conceived in a small shed in rural Victoria by builder Brian Wansbrough in 1989, Phoenix was founded with a clear vision – to manufacture three-piece tapware and accessories of the highest quality and to create the best bathroom experience possible for customers, with a strong focus on innovation and design.
As the company grew, so did its need for strong business leadership and in stepped managing director Steve Jackson and sales director Michael Phelan in 2005. Under their experienced eyes, the company’s trajectory rocketed skyward.
The company then inaugurated Phoenix’s very first in-house design and R&D department, spearheaded by some of the best and brightest minds, to manage and control the design, technology and performance of each product.
The company invested in a 3D printer for prototyping, internal quality control testing equipment, and has proudly won international recognition including seven iF Product Design awards, seven Red Dot awards and six Good Design awards.
Jackson and Phelan have also built a highly trained customer service team with sales staff and agents covering all metro and country areas of Australia, plus a support network comprising a national sales force, head office team, quality control, after sales, operations, warehouse assembly, accounts, sales and marketing – all working together to create an exceptional experience for each customer.
But Phoenix is not done yet – in the future there are exciting plans for continuing expansion within the Australian market as well as globally and the company is also looking to further extend in the plumbing sector.
Excellence. Visionary. Trusted – that’s the Phoenix story today.
